Healthy Home

Living in a warm, dry home is good for you, say the Asthma Foundation of New Zealand (www.asthmafoundation.org.nz).  If your home is damp and cold, everyone living there is more likely to suffer more bouts of colds and flu than those living in a warm, dry home, and the likelihood of developing a respiratory illness is greatly increased.  All this means more doctors bills, more time spent sick in bed, and generally, not much fun!

A wood pellet fire can help dry your home by circulating out the damp air, and because dry air is easier to heat, the home will also be nice and warm.  The recommended room temperature for healthy living is between 18-21 degrees celcius, and with our thermostat model pellet fires, it is easy to set the temperature to ensure you stay within in this range.

First and foremost – using wood pellet fuel is clean and easy!  No more chopping the wood, hauling the wood, stacking the wood, or dropping the wood on your toe!  Not to mention no more sitting in front of the fire blowing on a, let’s face it, often stubborn little ember in the hopes it will eventually burst into flame.  NO MORE!!  With a wood pellet fire, all you need to do is pour the pellets into the hopper – being smooth and cylindrical, they run like liquid, then, simply push a button and VOILA!  Instant, comforting heat with all the loveliness of a flickering flame and none of the fuss.  Bliss.

Remote Control

Several of our models come with a remote control so that you can turn your wood pellet fire off and on, or adjust the temperature, all from the comfort of your couch.

Thermostat

If the idea of fussing about with the remote control doesn’t appeal, you could always program in your ideal comfort setting, and the thermostat function will monitor and regulate the room temperature so you can focus on more important things (like that glass of something nice you’ve just poured yourself…

Seven Day Timer

Do you hate getting up to a cold house?  With our Seven Day Timer function you don’t have to!  Simply set your wood pellet fire to come on an hour before you get up and you’ll wake to the luxurious experience of a warm home.  But what about for when you come home from work I hear you ask?  We’ve got that sorted too!  Our timer function has two distinct ON/OFF cycles everyday, so they can come on before you wake, and turn off when you leave the house, then come on again to welcome you home again in the afternoon.  If only it had the tea on and the bath run too….we’re working on it!
